The project envisions creating a 60-room boutique hotel that will operate in conjunction with the Willow Ballroom, catering to wedding guests, as well as business and private events. The proposed hotel will be a four-story structure situated directly along the Sacramento River.
The primary color of the building is an off-white, neutral tone to evoke a local farmhouse aesthetic. The design is intended for the building to serve as a backdrop rather than a focal point. It aims to blend into the surroundings of the town and Sacramento River. The off-white hue was carefully chosen to highlight the shadows created by the siding and board-and-batten lines, adding a subtle depth to the building's appearance.
