AURA MIXED-USE CONDO PARKING STRUCTURE
SACRAMENTO, ca

This parking structure for a new mixed-use residential tower in downtown Sacramento is planned to front on Capitol Mall, the gateway to the California State Capitol Building. The ground floor includes 14,000 sf of restaurant and retail space that helps to conceal the 8-story 321-space parking garage. A landscaped parkway separates the structure from the Mall, and a 40' wide landscaped pedestrian way separates the retail space from the adjacent US Bank Tower. The eighth floor includes an amenity level for residents of the tower, offering a pool, exercise space, and landscaped areas. The Sacramento Design Review Board and Planning Commission have approved the carefully detailed and expressive exterior facade. This project, a joint venture with Studio Daniel Libeskind of New York, is currently on hold.
