This conceptual design for a 9,772 sf $2.6M gymnasium includes a 5,500 sf recreation court, a 1,200 sf activity room, kitchen, recreation office, restrooms and storage. This structure is a proposed companion to the existing 5,000 sf neighborhood community center, and is carefully positioned to minimize impacts to the existing park development. Related site improvements include a new offsite path from neighboring residences, a walk/jog path along the park boundary, and a courtyard bracketed by the buildings. This will be a LEED certified project.
