The project is to develop the 5-story,173-room Marriott Residence Inn in the empty 5.5-acre lot Esplanade Development in Alameda.

The building’s distinguishing features include continuous projecting trims to accentuate the main entry masses, a straight contemporary style cornice line at the parapet and tall first-floor storefront windows topped with a metal canopy.

The project consists of a five-story building constructed using modular technologies — the four stories of modular construction on one level concrete podium for public space.

 

The project is currently Construction Document phase.
