The project is to develop the 129-room Hyatt House in the historic Eastern Star Hall in Sacramento Midtown.
Eastern Star Hall is located on the edges of downtown Sacramento in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood. Sutter's Fort State Historic Park is across the street. Romanesque Revival in style, with Moorish or Byzantine elements, the building is more than three stories in height, has a gabled roof covered with terracotta tile, and a brick chimney at either end. The hall was completed in 1928.
The project is currently under construction.
