This 18,000 sf church is the first phase of a 5-acre masterplan for this Christian Reformed Church. The building includes a 300-seat flat-floor sanctuary and classroom wing connected by a large lobby/fellowship space that bisects the building. The lobby connects to outdoor space to the south that overlooks a permanent greenbelt. The sanctuary is designed to support a wide variety of musical and theatrical productions, and and includes an audiovisual control space in an open loft overlooking the nave and platform. Future plans include the expansion of the classroom wing and its connection to a new 800-seat sanctuary and small chapel. With the construction of the larger addition, the original sanctuary will be converted into a multi-purpose fellowship and recreation room.
