This contemporary 3-story structure, featuring glazed white tile and curving glass, received both an AIACVC award and an award for Best Office Building by Sacto on the GO. The 50,000 sf building's exterior stairs contribute to the plan's efficiency of over 90%. The entire exterior facade was designed with a 12"x12" tile module in such a manner that no cutting of tile was required. Energy-saving considerations included shaded south and east exposures, and reflective green glazing. Daylight fills the two-story lobby and glass-block-enclosed main stairwell.
