HRGA was asked to develop the 1.27-acre undeveloped parcel located at 1200 Churchill Downs Ave in Woodland. The project is to construct a new four-story, 41,000 sf with 79-room, Avid hotel By IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). Avid Hotel features contemporary designed guest rooms with lobby space. Avid Hotel is the innovative mid-scale, all-suite extended stay hotel thoughtfully designed for savvy, sophisticated, cost-conscious travelers.
The primary exterior materials are EIFS finish with bold red stair tower going up to fourth-floor high to create visual interests at street elevation. The building will be used EIFS system with neutral colors. The project is currently planning approval phase.
